Hacking Google Slides – METS VirtuRally Presentation

I am on the steering committee of an amazing, grassroots organization in the state of Michigan. The Michigan Educational Technology Specialist (METS) Group is comprised of over 600 Technology Integration Specialists and technology using teachers. The group hosts three major events for members throughout the year. In the fall, the METS Group hosts a Fall Rally (I am the chair at this year’s event!). In the winter, we have the VirtuRally. The VirtuRally format is really important with Michigan winters. The most recent version saw almost all of the schools in Southern Michigan closed for a large snow storm! And in the Spring, on the eve of the largest Educational Technology Conference in Michigan, the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning (MACUL) Conference, the group hosts an Idea Slam, where the crowd votes on innovative ideas for education and the group will provide a significant grant to make it happen.

This year, I had the opportunity to present at the VirtuRally on how to Hack Google Slides. Watch the video below for a full recap of my session!
